James Maicibu Muigai

James studied Economics at Nairobi University. He is currently working in Kigali Rwanda as an Auditor.'At a time when I did not know whether I'd ever step in a high school, since my parents could not afford to pay my school fees, there came HBEF and renewed my hopes. HBEF paid my school fees and offered moral support. The Board Members have been friends and mentors to date. This opened the horizons that poverty had shunned. Was it not for HBEF intervention, I'll probably be a jobless youth begging for hand-outs in my village just like my peers who were not lucky as I was to get a scholarship. Yet they too deserved a chance – if only someone was there to help. Today, a graduate and an accountant by professional, I am a testimony that education is a sure way to change the world. I will proactively drive this change. HBEF, you saved me! I will forever be grateful.'  From 2015 James has decided to give back and through HBEF is sponsoring the education of 1 boy.

Many thanks to all sponsors who have made our beneficiaries lives, stories of success and triumph.
